Joey’s Plant-Based Bakery & Coffee House

1 min read

What’s better than a weekend in the Lake District? A weekend in the Lake District with our friends at Joey’s Lake District!

Joey’s is an eco-focused cafe in the grounds of Wray Castle and Claife Viewing Station. Occasionally popping up at Hill Top Farm in the height of summer. They serve plant-based bakery items and coffee from their roastery, which is entirely powered by solar panels. It’s a great place to unwind after visiting Beatrix Potter Attractions or exploring nearby National Trust properties.

Their weekend specials include everything from Loaded Chilli Nachos to Vegan pasties—all made with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. And did we mention that they have gluten-free options too?

Stop by on your next trip up North or whenever you need a little something special in your life. You’ll be glad you did!

Both cafes are both open daily 10 am-4 pm, with delicious food and coffee in stunning locations.
